My life isn't exciting or glamorous but it is a good life. I have been blessed far beyond what I deserve. I have a great job, a roof over my head, good health, amazing family and friends, born and raised in America, and a knowledge of Jesus Christ and His plan for our salvation. With all that said I am easily in the top 1% of humans who have ever lived on this earth. How did I get so blessed?? I have no idea. But I count my blessings each and every day so I don't forget how deeply blessed I am.

Buster and Bear came to live with me on 12/29/01. I adopted them from the Humane Society four days after putting down my sweet Maggie who had lung cancer. Mitzi came to live with us about a year later in January of 2003. She was given to a man I delivered Meals On Wheels to and he couldn't afford to keep her. He asked me to take her and find her a home. Well, the home I found was mine. She and the boys don't get a long. In fact, Bear and Mitzi are like quarrelling two-year olds....still! Buster seems more tolerant of her....or she's more tolerant of him. Truth be told Mitzi only gets a long with me and that's not even all the time. But, she deserves a good home where she is loved and cared for and bless her heart I do love her!
I moved to Utah in June of 1991 and I swore I would never move to Utah! Seventeen years later I'm still here. Maybe I need to get a complete mental examination?!?
I got a job working for Key Bank as a Lockbox Supervisor where I stayed for two years making HALF of what I was making in CA. Then came a two year stint with Goldsmith Jewelers as accountant and office manager. Then I worked for two pathetic companies (I will not mention their names but I'm sure they no longer exist) part-time while I finished my BS in Accountancy at BYU. I have been working for my current employer for 10 years now (WOW) as an accountant and payroll manager.
I spent three years as an officer in the Utah Chapter APA and will soon be starting my third year doing taxes for H&R Block.
Well that's pretty much my life in a nutshell. Check back soon for more detail and drama from the days of my life.
